Shove Council is a multifaith group that seeks to foster the life of the spirit at Colorado College by promoting personal and campus participation in issues of religious and ethical importance. Gathering over lunch in the Shove Office on Wednesdays, this informal group discusses various topics from a wide variety of spiritual and moral viewpoints, including those committed to a faith expression and those who are seeking/questioning. New perspectives are always welcome.

The Chaplains’ Office and the CC Christian community together offer an ecumenical Taize Service in the candle-lit sanctuary of Shove Chapel at 9:00 PM on the second Monday of each Block. This peaceful form of Christian worship includes readings from the Bible, simple chant-like songs and brief periods of silence. It can be meaningful to people of many spiritual paths and everyone is invited. October 5, November 2, November 30, January 25, February 22, March 29, April 26
