October Cell Phone Drive

Don’t throw away that old cell phone! Donate it to TESSA, the Colorado Springs community center for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. As part of our Domestic Violence Awareness Month activities, we are holding a cell phone drive to benefit TESSA. The phones are used in two ways. First, they are set up to dial 911 in an emergency and are given to women who have come to TESSA’s shelters to escape violence in their homes. Second, other phones are sent to a refurbishing company and the proceeds benefit the many other fundamental projects of TESSA.
When: Throughout the month of October
