What: FullPower Self Protection WorkshopThis is a 5-hour workshop in which students learn and practice verbal and physical self-protection strategies and techniques on a fully padded instructor. Our extensively trained instructors teach students to defend themselves by using parts of their bodies as weapons and parts of the assailant’s body as target areas.

What: Good Sex Series Program: Keep In Touch With Yourself This series of programs focuses on healthy sexuality, because when members of a community are engaged in healthy sexual interactions, they by definition cannot be engaged in sexual violence. This program will focus on history, attitudes and benefits of self-knowledge.

What: Sex: What We Cannot Talk About Part of the Good Sex Series of Healthy Sexuality Programming. What: White Ribbon Day at the CC v. Michigan Tech Hockey Game The White Ribbon Campaign is the largest effort in the world of men working to end men’s violence against women. Wearing a white ribbon is a personal pledge never to commit, condone nor remain silent about violence against women. We’ll be passing out ribbons and information about how we as a community can mobilize to end violence against women.
