On May 18, 446 undergraduates and nine master of arts in teaching students received their degrees in Colorado College's 128th commencement ceremony. Michael Bennet, the new U.S. senator from Colorado, addressed the CC graduating class of 2009. Bennet began his public service career as an aide to Gov. Richard Celeste of Ohio, who is now CC's president.

Support Remains Strong for Financial Aid at Colorado College

Scholarship Dinner Brings Students, Donors Together Jody Smith ’70, Sirina Milsap ’09, and David Smith ’70 were brought together at the March Scholarship Appreciation Dinner. The dinner provided an opportunity for scholarship donors and beneficiaries to get to know each other.

Despite the nationwide economic downturn, CC will award six new scholarships next year that will contribute more than $110,600 to the financial aid budget.
